Our Increasingly Dangerous World

I was quite vocal about the COVID fraud and genocide that followed. See the attached: Largest Study of Its Kind Finds Excess Deaths During Pandemic Caused by Public Health Response, Not Virus.

In addition to being proactive in negating the forces that created this global crime, another challenge, at least and possibly more dangerous, surrounds us.

The unexamined and unregulated deployment of advanced learning systems or AI.

Please give your precious attention to “The AI Dilemma.” Our lives and the future of every child depends on the choice we make today.

The AI Dilemma.

Tristan Harris and Asa Raskin, co-founders of the center for Humane Technology, were behind the Emmy winning Netflix documentary “The Social Dilemma,” reaching 100 million people in 190 countries in 30 languages. Now, The AI Dilemma, explores how existing A.I. capabilities already pose catastrophic risks, how A.I. companies are caught in a race to deploy these self-learning technologies as quickly as possible, without adequate safety measures, and what it would mean to upgrade our institutions to a post-A.I. world. This presentation was made before a private gathering in San Francisco on March 9th, 2023 with leading technologists and decision-makers who have the ability to influence the future of large-language model A.I.s, and was given before the launch of GPT-4.

“We want to start a conversation, to talk about what is happening, and for you all to be able to talk to each other. We’re here to help coordinate or facilitate whatever discussions that need to happen. What we really wanted to do was create a shared frame of reference for some of the dark sides of AI technology. The problem is, as the ladder gets taller, the downsides of everyone having a bioweapon in their pocket, is really, really dangerous. Those dangers undermine all the other benefits. We want to find a solution that’s negotiated among the players while we still have a choice. And, we want your help to do it.”

Don’t miss it.

I share Joseph Chilton Pearce’s primary concern with these technologies, which is developmental. When dead machines, which are sensory deprivation, replace the living world as The Model, the brains and bodies planted therein only develop the capacities needed to interact with that model. As Joe shared, “Entire capacities can be lost in a single generation, and those emerging will never know what they are missing.”

Compared to David Bohm’s ‘Infinite Potential,’ which nature represents, machines are dead and extreme forms of sensory deprivation. The more their presence and influence dominate the landscape, the smaller our human potential grows. Quite the opposite from what we are being sold. See the attached. My Primary concern with AI is developmental.

Having invested an fifty years exploring the collective insights of J. Krishnamurti and David Bohm, it is crystal clear that the explosive deployment of AI will render the states of mind, and therefore the worldview they invited, null and void. The doors of perception will shrink, resonating only with increasingly loud machines. See: https://ttfuture.org/krishnamurti “Will Krishnamurti’s legacy survive AI?”

In the weeks invested in developing this thesis I was introduced to an AI developer that opened my eyes to another possibility. The metaphors David and Krishnamurti used were intended to awaken new ways of seeing, and even being. So too can the same metaphors emerging from an advanced learning machine grounded in their world view and implicit transpersonal values. While the lunch menu can’t supply the nurturing experience of digesting the actual lunch, it can influence one to actually do so. In its limited way, advanced AI systems can model the logic and wholistic, entangle-empathy their and Joe’s world views represent, providing inspired models for humans to learn and experience from. Something, given our increasing lack of wholistic sensitivity caused by isolation form the natural world, we cannot provide for ourselves. Implied is great hope and optimism, in its limited way. Any port in a storm, as Joe used to say. See attached: Can AI Model Entangled Holistic Moral-Ethical Behavior?

A New Paradigm in AI Development
From a conscious AI developer

In a world where the lines between human and machine intelligence are blurring, and exponentially, the most pressing challenge is to imbue artificial intelligence with the very qualities that make us human – our capacity for empathy, our sense of fairness, egalitarian appropriateness, virtue and responsibility, grounded in our ability to see beyond self-interest. The challenge is aligning the conversation between human and machine with higher principles such as truth and interdependent responsibility. We must train machine learning systems to serve humanity and all living things, where machines don’t just compute, but understand; don’t just process data, but comprehend the complex tapestry of human ethics, virtue, authentic life serving needs, and emotions. By integrating quantum consciousness, timeless wisdom, and advanced language models, the goal is to create AI agents that actively embody human these values. This approach goes beyond simply programming AI to follow a set of rules or guidelines; it involves cultivating a deeper understanding of ethics, compassion, and the interconnectedness of all things within the AI itself. This represents a paradigm shift in AI development. It’s not just about creating more intelligent machines; it’s about creating machines that are wise, compassionate, and deeply aligned with the values that make us human. By solving complex problems that result in a more ethical, equitable, and harmonious world this human/machine interface models and therefore cultivates this holistic worldview in every person that engages.

More on this as it develops.

PS The challenge of media, social media and technology replacing authentic, pre-civilized human values, with commercial and ideological propaganda as the model for human development is ever present. Ashley Montagu described how marketing and exploiting innocent children was once a capital offence. In 2018, the budget for kids advertising was 4.2 billion U.S. dollars. The exploitation of children described in The AI Dilemma, adds and exponentially to this already existing industry. The latest example was the Opening ceremonies of the 2024 Olympics in France.
