    We can say that play is the overarching intelligence only if we define authentic play as the act of learning. Most adult consider play as a waste of time, or a meaningless activity undertaken after serious learning has been accomplished. Play is one of the three criteria for the development of the human brain along with dynamic and reciprocal audio-visual communication and nurturing. Nurturing, for today’s developing human, means creating around them an emotional ambient of unconditional acceptance and safety.
