Waldorf is an excellent example of an approach to schooling that is in alignment with the child’s natural developmental stages; body, emotions, imagination and spirit. All of their measures for appropriate behavior and learning experiences are based on the child’s developmental stage. Not on the culture. Not on societies demands. Rather on what research shows to be our innate genetic plan for full development. If the system is in alignment with these innate developmental stages the child is compelled by millions of years of genetic encoding to learn and develop at optimum levels.
