The emotional state of the mother is a major determining factor in the development of the new life emerging insider her. Birth is not separate from but part of a continuum. Birth is a relationship. All mothers (mammals) given the opportunity naturally seek a safe, quiet, usually dimly lit space. Any interference in her feeling of being completely safe inhibits or stops the birth-dance relationship. This is a deep primal process, not intellectual. Intellect which is first and foremost a defense system plays not part in this ancient biological process. Add screaming emergency sirens, flashing lights, masked medicine men, beeping monitors, talking, and all speech is intellectual, cameras and videos, and the natural process takes longer and longer, requiring more and more intervention.
Coming
We know that the mother’s emotional state enters into the determinacy of the infant’s brain structure, their potential body structure, and we know that the birth experience itself is simply an intrical part of that. It isn’t something extra or added. It’s the integral part of the natural sequence of events in bringing a new life in. All mammals on Earth when they’re ready to deliver, and they sense they’re ready to deliver, they seek out and there are no exceptions to this, if they are given the chance they will seek out the most hidden private secret place they can find, generally dark. Why? Because the infant has been in that kind of an environment all along and needs that kind of an environment to make the transition from the interior world to the exterior world. Furthermore, a woman at the time of birthing is most vulnerable or a mammal at the time of birthing is the most vulnerable they will ever be. By vulnerable I mean they are not in a position to defend themselves. You can’t both defend yourself and give yourself over to the enormous huge event of bringing a new life in. So, all mammals seek out that quiet safe space.
Also built into our genetic system is that at that moment any kind of interference, the slightest signal that something might be going to interfere with the birth process, the ancient animal brain shut down the birth process. They’re the ones that carry the birth process, not the human intellect. The intellect should be left at the front door with this. We’re dealing with a really encoded genetic system. And the birth system is designed by nature to stop if there is any interference of any sort. Why? It might be a saber tooth tiger coming to have lunch on this newborn infant. So we’re going to stop the birth process and wait to see if the coast is clear.
Now, not interfered with in any fashion whatsoever mother’s can give birth to an infant in a very short period of time. Nature didn’t design it to be a great long drawn out thing. 20-25 minutes, half hour max, and the birth system is all complete, tidied up, ready to move right on. But, if there are interferences, if the scene is sirens screaming and a great panic rush to the hospital where it’s going to happen? The system starts closing down. And then if you go into bright lit arenas of operations and; masked faces and emergencies and all sorts of testing equipment and so forth, it’s just one interference after another, each one of which does what, it shuts down the birth system. Nature says by golly this is a hostile environment. We’d better wait until the coast is clear. And so we have had for a long time, in fact centuries because we’ve been interfering with the birth process for centuries and centuries, these long traumatic drawn out birthings of which can get very painful, one part of the body fighting another and there’s no overall smooth flow of the whole event. Then we have to come in with a lot of emergency equipment and then intervene. So all these interventions simply delay the birth process and prevent what is suppose to happen in the natural scheme of things.
And when this takes place then you will have C-sectioning, you’ve got about 30% C-sectionings been going on for a long time or any of the other intervening things. The mother is largely incapacitated from this. If drugs were used, can she bond to her infant, no, and she’s in a state of panic. Her body’s in a state of panic. Even if there’s drug or her conscious mind is out of the picture, her body is in a state of panic. It’s being invaded at its most vulnerable point. So all this breaks up the bond which existed in-uteral is not being carried over in that smooth transition that nature designed.
There are a lot of other things that happen and that is the consciousness of the infant is drugged every bit as thoroughly as the mother. When the mother is drugged, given things to knock out all pain, all feeling and most of her consciousness, that passes to the infant in-utero in a matter of seconds and so the infant is drugged in a like matter. So that neither one have the conscious awareness of this presence of the bond. See you’ve broken the bond very thoroughly. With even a good birth in the hospital setting it’s very difficult to maintain the continuity on which life is based from the inner world into the outer world for the infant.
