60% of the cells that make up the heart are neurons, the same as found in our brain.The body is alive, pulsing with fields of electromagnetic energy generated by the heart. Each inner reaction or state radiates throughout the body and beyond. The heart is a brain, a generator of intelligence that moves for life’s wholeness and wellbeing. The brain in the head is symbolic, personal, autobiographical often selfish. The intelligence of the heart asks: is it appropriate. The head asks only: is it possible without concern for universal implications.

One of the discoveries made way back in the 70’s was that any living organism, any living cell produces an electromagnetic field.  It produces the field, and the field surrounds it and encompasses it.  They discovered that a seed or an egg so long as it’s unfertilized or hasn’t germinated yet has a very, very weak electromagnetic field, hardly detectable at all.  But the minute germination takes place and the seed begins to grow or the egg fertilizes and begins to grow, immediately there’s a very strong electromagnetic field which surrounds the entire egg or the entire seed itself and it stands out beyond it, and the same thing with a human being in-utero.

And so then we find that the mother’s heart field in which the infant is, of course, completely immersed in from the beginning, literally is the heart field, the electromagnetic field, that is critical to generating the infant’s heart which then generates the very unique electromagnetic field which is going to determine the unique individual qualities of that infant.  And so you find that in every way again, even when we get into the electromagnetic fields of the heart, that depends on its model imperative which is the electromagnetic field of the mother’s heart.  That’s why they’ve never yet succeeded in so called test-tube babies.  That’s a figment of imagination they manage to bring about the fertilization of an egg in the test tube but once it makes it’s first two or three major divisions, you’ve got to get it into a womb or freeze it right quick or it can’t survive.  And one of the reasons being of course that it’s dependent upon the electromagnetic field of the mother to furnish the temporary fields which are necessary for then the heart to develop which is the first organ to develop before the brain or the body.  And the job of the heart in the first 10-12 weeks is only to produce that electromagnetic field, which does what? It furnishes these signals on which the whole DNA structure functions.

The other interesting thing is that in this state of anxiety the electromagnetic field produced by the heart is radically different then the electromagnetic field produced by a heart when the individual is in a state of love or security, freedom from anxiety and so on.  So again, they get to that very point. The environment is determining and what is the environment?  The environment is the emotional state of the mother and then the corresponding emotional state of the infant.

We speak of the field, we speak of the electromagnetic field which the heart produces but this is a field within many fields.  The infant’s electromagnetic field from its own heart is within the mother’s electromagnetic field and she is within the electromagnetic field of the Earth.  And the Earth is in the electromagnetic field produced by the Solar System, by the Sun. And that no doubt is within the electromagnetic field of the larger galactic system.  The whole issue is that fields are meaning, that is, you can’t distinguish between the meaning of a field and the field itself.  Fields exist as meaning structures you might say.  The meaning of field of anxiety, concern, worry, fear is entirely different then the meaning of the field of security, love, nurturing and so forth.  The fields respond differently.  The body responds differently to them.  DNA responds differently to them and so on and so forth.

When you walk into a room with a batch of people who are all at each other’s throat and there’s a great deal of hostility, there doesn’t have to be a word spoken.  You know on entering that room that something is wrong inside that room with that group of people.  You’re simply picking up a field.  Now, what is that field?  It’s a field of meaning.  What is the meaning?  The meaning is the emotional state going on.  The same thing applies really to all meaning of all fields.  They contain within them or are or express meaning. So there’s no distinction between meaning and field.  They’re essentially the same phenomena.  And we of course immersed, we live our life both producing these fields and responding to these fields.
