There’s plenty of money…
For fear, agression and profits

Next time you hear we don’t have enough money for the local food bank, homeless mothers, health care, uncrowded classrooms, roads, clean water, natural food, school lunches without pink-slime, elder care and other social needs…  Watch the video.

You and I, our children and everyone in our neighbourhoods invest approximately $0.53 of every 3 Trillion Tax Dollars, the Federal Budget, more or less in the military-industrial complex, the CIA, Homeland Security and the Black Hole – classified secret security industry and we repeat this gift every year. That’s more than half of the total US budget invested in killing and well-earned protection against retaliation for fear, agression and profits.

And this does not include an estimated $76 Billion we gift each year (over and above the initial $4.76 Trillion Wall Street Bailout bonanza), to the 18 of the country’s largest banks, including JPMorgan, Bank of America Corp. and Citigroup Inc. that make a killing – in terms of profits – from fear and agression.

US radio host Dennis Bernstein and investigative reporter Dave Lindorff illustrate just how much US tax money goes towards the country's war chest.

"People have to realize that 53 cents of every dollar that they are paying into taxes is going to the military to an astonishing figure there is an enormous, enormous amount of money being blown on war, killing and destruction."

Something to think about.
