The Art of Playful Parenting, based on the book Magical Parent, Magical Child by Michael Mendizza with Joseph Chilton Pearce, and
and Playing by Heart, based on the book by the same title with Fred Donaldson, PhD.
Our goal is to host eight classes in the next eighteen months.
Tuition: $59.
Classes offer inspired continuing education for parents, grandparents, childcare providers, Head Start and preschool teachers. The class format - six weeks, twelve lessons - is similar to online classes used by colleges and universities. Estimated time to complete each class is five hours per week, thirty hours total, which can be applied to continuing education certification, which we offer in collaboration with the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute.

We have a rich network of specialists in child and family development. Connections is a monthly telephone conference that connects you with this network. One Saturday morning each month we schedule a live telephone conference with a special guest: Joseph Chilton Pearce, Carla Hannaford, Fred Donaldson,
Jean Leidloff, Stuart Brown, Peggy O’Mara, Suzanne Arms, David Chamberlain, Bruce Lipton, to name just a few.
The format is simple, not unlike an interview on New Dimensions Radio, with listener participation. Questions submitted by the live audience open a candid dialogue, which is followed by an open forum.
Tuition: $15 per conference, plus normal telephone charges. |
